About
My name is Lynn Smits, and I am a North Carolina commissioned Notary Signing Agent based in Waxhaw, serving clients throughout Union and Mecklenburg counties. I have been an NNA-certified and background-screened Notary Signing Agent since 2009 and hold North Carolina commission number 200915600110, expiring 6/4/2029. Over the years, I have successfully handled more than 1,000 real estate signings.
Before becoming a Notary Signing Agent, I spent over 14 years in banking and commercial finance, preparing and executing a wide range of loan documents and closing deals face to face with borrowers and dealers. My previous roles as Credit Analyst, Consumer Loan Specialist, Credit Manager, and Senior Business Analyst have given me a strong foundation in accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
I offer professional, prompt, and detail-oriented service, using secure technology such as email, internet access, a mobile hotspot, and a laser printer. I also provide e-signing support and fingerprinting when needed. I look forward to building a strong working relationship with you and representing your company with care.
