Hello, I’m Jamie Poorman, Head Librarian at Marshall Public Library in Marshall, Illinois. I’m glad to help community members with convenient, in-person notary support through the library’s public service offerings.

Marshall Public Library provides free notary services on a first-come, first-served basis during weekday daytime hours. Services may include acknowledgments and other general notary needs, depending on the document and required identification. My goal is to make the process approachable, professional, and accessible for local residents and visitors who need basic notarization assistance.

Please remember to bring a valid form of identification and do not sign your document before meeting with the notary. Availability may depend on staffing and library hours.
