Melissa Burney

My name is Melissa Burney, and I am a commissioned Tennessee notary and loan signing agent based in Hohenwald, TN (commission exp. 3/24/2026). With a doctorate in English, I bring an advanced level of detail, organization, and clear communication to every signing I handle.

I am NNA certified, background screened, bonded, E&O insured, and a Remote Online Notary (RON) with a digital certificate. I have experience completing I-9 verifications as well as refinance and seller packages in a timely and efficient manner. Clients can rely on me to carefully review and research documents so the signing process is smooth, accurate, and stress-free.

I am very comfortable with technology and equipped for modern signings, including email and internet-based workflows, e-sign capabilities, a laser printer, and a mobile hotspot. I also offer flexible, 24-hour service to better accommodate my clients’ schedules.
