Joan Bys

My name is Joan Bys, a commissioned Florida Notary Public based in The Villages, FL (Commission #HH570609, exp. 07/12/2028). I bring over 15 years of legal document signing experience, along with a strong background in tax and financial planning. I am known for being thorough, precise, and punctual, and I’m proud to maintain exceptional ratings from my clients.

I handle a wide range of notarial services, from routine acknowledgments and jurats to complex loan signings throughout Central Florida. I am also experienced with weddings, hospital signings, and jail signings, and I use a laser printer, mobile hotspot, email, and internet tools to keep each signing efficient and well-organized.

I hold a BA from Temple University, an MS from California State University, and completed Financial Planning and Management studies at Pepperdine University. I retired from Law Enforcement in 2021 as a Parole Administrator overseeing a key partnership between the Los Angeles County Courts and the Division of Adult Parole.
